While in Reykjavik….

In search of The Grill Market which we finally found tucked in an alleyway.

And into a cave of “artistic and luxurious design, based on Icelandic elements like rock and water…..

Grillmarkadurinn was on our list of places to go and it didn’t disappoint!

Bread served with freshly churned butter and volcanic salts.

Ribs for Anne-Marie and all its fixings.

Of course we had to order the lava cake for dessert!

Speaking of lava cake, a cool poster that shows you how to make your own active volcano cake….

Another on our list were the hotdogs! Hlolla Batar, a yummy hotdog and sandwich stand.

The Icelandic horse is famous for having a 5th gait called tolt.

Riding one with the volcanic lava fields as your backdrop, a dream come true.
