Looking to the Past

My latest fashion editorial shoot for High Life Magazine.  This issue just came out and sharing some behind-the-scene images-

Our doll-faced model, Olivia, with her thinking (Bonne) cap on.  Speaking of dolls….
Rings by Kathy Webb! Check out the doll head ring! Creepy…cute…cool!

Looking to the past for fashion inspiration and channeling a vintage mood…

I’ve been so obsessed with treating my photos via pixelromatic and I’m digging the aged look, perfect for that film noir feel.

Model/Photographer, Jo Ann Bitagcol takes a shot!

Our location, Diamond Hotel. Art Deco’d out- linear interiors and calculated geometric shapes. I had no idea the hotel got renovated, which is great!

The eye-popping, green Perrier bottles, looking like emeralds, definitely complemented the dark wood table and black leather chairs.

Don’t you wish your office or room had this amazing view? My parting shot…

And Olivia wants to say bye too…

See the final results in the latest High Life Magazine out in newsstands now!

And since this is my very first “bulag” entry (or “blind item” should we call it?), allow me to share a joke:

A blind man walks into a store with his seeing eye dog. All of a sudden, he picks up the leash and begins swinging the dog over his head. The manager runs up to the man and asks, “What are you doing?!!” The blind man replies, “Just looking around.” ;P

On that note, keep looking…. Take a shot, ‘cuz life might pass you by. With this blog, I would love to share my insights on wardrobe development (with my work as a fashion stylist and costume designer) including never-before-seen images from behind the scenes, or just musings and asides of things that have caught my eye; mostly a collection of visuals and word bytes. Nothing negative, always looking at the bright side. 😉
