Kevyn Lettau: More Than Meets the Eye

One of my dearest friends, Kevyn Lettau, is in town for the Philippine Jazz Festival 2012.  As a fashion stylist, I put together fun outfits for all her shows.

An amazing, world-renowned musician, she is best known in the Philippines for the hit song “Sunlight”. Some refer her music as “latin jazz”(?), although I can’t really pinpoint the exact genre to place her in as she has a unique style of bringing together a variety of elements. So just like the different facets of her music, Kevyn can transform…

From SWEET….

To SULTRY…..

(Special thanks to Ito Ocampo for the photos of Kevyn Lettau performing at Salon de Ning in a smokin’ hot Tippi Ocampo creation! For more of that night’s jazz and razzmatazz, click on http://tippiocampo.com/?p=4364. )

And even FUNNY (haha!)…

Here she is with Cathy (another Bikram Yoga afficionado) suggesting that they do a Bikram pose for the shot 😉

Another adorable friend, Cathy Cantada-Dizon (talented makeup artist and Belle & Cat proprietor), actually used to sing professionally! She mentioned before that some of Kevyn Lettau songs would be a part of her repertoire.

We had our girly, quality time bonding over their amazing and uber-relaxing “ultimate spa mani/pedi”. I am in love with their signature Butterscotch scent! Drop by if you’re in the Makati Area!… http://www.belleandcat.com/

Kevyn’s final performance for the Philippine Jazz Festival will be 6PM tonight at the Rockwell Tent. At this International Jazz Gala, I am proud to say that she will be receiving an award for being the Jazz Ambassadress of the Philippines, a place she also calls “home”.

Speaking of home, here is a recent article aptly titled Welcome ‘Home’, Kevyn Lettau-
