See the Difference: 2012’s Flirty-Feminine & 2013’s Sexy-Sultry

I love how work is completely different every day, never boring and always a new challenge and adventure.  My last project for 2012 and the first shoot for 2013 could not have been more poles apart.

Last on our list for the year, a tv commercial shoot focusing on freshness with a flirty and feminine feel…..

Flirty Feminine 1

Flowers were everywhere, including these slightly dyed blue ones which I loved. So happy we got to take some home!

Flirty Feminine 2

A cut-out feature at the back of the dress, which I had to cover up with two panels of lace. Although the placement of the lace looked like part of the design to go with the skirt, I actually had to figure out a way to cover up the talent’s huge back tattoo. These little challenges make things for the better as that particular feature received several compliments during the shoot….

Looking forward to the final edit of this commercial! And of course I’ll be sharing that and more behind-the-scenes with you!Flirty Feminine 4

On the other hand, the beginning of 2013 had me on the opposite side of the spectrum. From 2012’s flirty-feminine came a photo shoot with a sexy-sultry vibe….

Sexy Sultry 1

Handmade statement rings!  Ultra-cool resin ones cleverly displayed in clear egg trays (above) by Studio Bohemia and beaded, stoned and wired ones that were creatively put together in the formation of butterflies and insects (below) by Kathy Webb.

Sexy Sultry 2

See the rings in action, some of my behind-the scene shots at Shutterspace Studios….Sexy Sultry 3 Sexy Sultry 4Can’t wait to see the final images of this photo shoot! First time working together with the photographer, hair & makeup artist, the models and happy to say we made a pretty dynamic team! I shall introduce everyone as soon as the photos have been released.

Let’s go, 2013!!!!
