Shops That’ll Make your Eyes Pop!

Literally “window” shopping Singapore-style at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands….

A lovely surprise to see at a wine shop called The Oaks Cellar…..

I love skulls and I firmly state that there are not merely a trend, but rather a classic.  So it’s more of an affirmation for me to see them incorporated into wonderful wine and home accessories….

And stylish umbrella handles….

So many elements in The Society of Black Sheep window that make me excited!  The laser-cut jewelry and silver bow ties and to the tux shirt and glittery skirt that are surprisingly silk-screened….

And would you wear these leggings? 

The gorgeous, GORGEOUS iron work of the British India store….

With its intricate design echoing its window display….

I love it! I just wish the clothes they featured in this display had the same flair as its iron work, backdrop and setting….

Lively shawl prints at Pashma….

Beautiful interpretation of the peace sign at the Bread & Butter store. This could be a unique wreath or the perfect window display for the Christmas season as well. Window displays have just a few seconds to reel you in.  So I can say this was effective as I decided to  enter the store to check out the merchandise and then the prices…. And no wonder it’s called Bread & Butter as it would have required alot of dough on my part.  Ha!  Actually to shop in most stores here, multiple jobs need to be your bread & butter. Double ha!

Beware of the tentacles at Louis Vuitton!

This lone bag makes a statement within the quirky backdrop…

Sharply-dressed, I love a man in Prada…. Can you guess who these personalities are? 😉 

Changing of the window display…. Reminds me of the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace haha!  It’s like a show in itself. Here, Hermes’ visual merchandiser adds the finishing touch to this already fabulous window….

The kids are never neglected….

According to Poney Enfant’s window display above, “Ethnic Chic” is in.  The bright colors, prints and patterns are a stark contrast to a more classic, subdued look at their other window….

Meanwhile at Kids 21…..

Argyle print provides a nice backdrop to the incoming holiday collection….

I don’t know about the rest of you ladies, but every trip abroad is not complete without a visit to your friendly neighborhood, Victoria’s Secret store….

You can even get your art fix on at this mall….

All this “shopping” can get you really exhausted, no?  With tired feet, Inaki wanted to do the fish spa, which is also at the mall. I vowed never to try that thing.  Little fishies nibbling at your feet’s dead skin cells? Gross. I tried to put my foot down. Haha! Pun intended?

Ok fine, I finally tried it. It took me five minutes to finally get my feet down. And another 5 minutes to finally look down.  Waaaaaah!!!! It tickled alot and it looked so weird but I guess you get used to it….

Happy feet.

Now for the whole body and mind experience back at our hotel….

Aaaaaah! Life is good. Sometimes. When it is, hold on to it and cherish it forever.

Singapore…. You rock!!!
